Remember God

1 Chronicles  16:12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

To remember means to acknowledge, to focus on something, to consider, to take into account of the past, to keep in mind, to meditate on, to think about, or not to forget something

Remembering God is an act of putting into account of who God has been to us,, who He is, and what He demands in our life, to remember God also includes having the consciousness that God is with us, and we are obeying His words daily.

From the begining of creation God has maintain an open relationship with man, even when man sinned and was disconnected from Him, He made a way so man can be reunited, this was possible through our Lord Jesus Christ.

But in all of God's offer of unbroken relationship, man most time  forget God, forget His commands, power and judgment and this has made man to end up with a disastrous end, for many who could not make their way back to Him.

King Solomon was a king who melt God's heart by giving one of the best sacrifice after building the most magnificent house of God. Despite the warning given by his father King david... 1 Kings  2:3 And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:

He started well with God as expected, but along the line, he forgets God, his heart was turned away by the numerous women he married, he end up worshipping idols, failed to remember the God who helped his father succeed on the throne.

Samson also was a Nazareth from God, endowed with supernatural strength to fight Israel's enemy, but his lust drifted his heart from the ways of God, he got lost and was wounded, it was too late before he could remember God... He died a defeat soldier.

We are to remember God in every areas of our life

As a youth, we must remember God, in doing his will and following his commands so we can prosper in all our ways.. Ecclesiastes  12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

We are to remember God  and his judgement... This will keep us in check whenever we are tempted with sin. We have the fear of God in us that he is somewhere looking at everything we are doing.

When you have gotten what you asked for... Remember God.

It is so sad today that many forgets God after receiving answers to their prayers or after being blessed, they forget it was the power of God that made it happen...

When things becomes so difficult, remember God.
1 Chronicles  16:12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgements of his mouth;

Remember how good he was in the past, the battle He has won, the stories of his mighty power and grace, the testimonies of the Saint, and His promises to anyone who look upon him.  By this we keep ourselves connected to him, so we are not distracted to the deceit of the devil.

Forgetting God means we are forgetting our source of living... When a stream of water forget its source, it will dry.

If we forget God, we will gradually walk into sin, fear sets in, and you give the devil a chance to control all your life.

Do not forget God in anything you do, remember him in any situation you find yourself.. Weather great or small. By this you can only excel..

Remember God everyday...

God bless you.
