Be mature in Christ

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

The birth of a new born baby is always filled with joy and happiness, it is a delight to the parent and everyone around, this is also the case with anyone who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his/her saviour, the host of heaven rejoices on such fellow.

It is normal to be born a baby, but abnormal to remain a baby for life. After birth, the baby is expected to grow day after day, but failure to grow will cause fear and anxiety for the parents. A growing child is a delight and pleasure to behold , but the one with stunted growth is a Prayer point on his/her own.

Accepting Christ is being born again, but remaining a baby for long becomes abnormal in the kingdom, our spiritual maturity becomes stunted if we fail to feed on the the true word of God, and get acquainted with God personally through Christ instead of proxy

A baby in Christ is always full of unbelief, even after God has given convincing assurance over a matter.. Matthew 17:19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

The disciples were still babies when they brought a demonic child to them, they tried all they could but to no avail, Christ affirmed that their unbelief is the reason for their inability to cast out demons.

A baby in Christ is easily sway away from the path of righteousness by false teaching, false doctrines, false prophecies and little challenge of life

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23).
Our maturity is a reflection of our relationship with God.

If we are not maturing in our relationship with God, we cannot bear fruit of the Spirit. Our maturity also helps us grow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

Whatever doesn't grow is as good as dead. A believer that is not growing is liable to have stunted growth and becomes prone to devils attack which will result to being spiritually dead

Be mature, so you can be perfect unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

God bless you.
