Leadership Integrity

1 Corinthians  11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Integrity in leaders refers to being honest, trustworthy, and reliable. Leaders with integrity act in accordance with their words (i.e. they practice what they preach) and own up to their mistakes, as opposed to hiding them, blaming their team, or making excuses.

Apostle Paul admonished the believers at corinth by professing his integrity as a custodian of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. As a preacher he advice the believers to follow his teachings, character and behaviour, just as he is imitating Christ.

He  was not bringing a new religion or believe different from that of Christ, but expressively representing Christ to all, having Christ as his source of life, hope, teaching and grace. As leader, he displayed a high sense of integrity.

There were leaders of the church before him, even before the birth of Christ and during his life ministry.  He  had one time rebuked the pharisees and the Scribes on their hypocritical way of life, enforcing the law on people while they themselves were offenders.
Matthew  23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.  23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation

Every believer in Christ is a leader expected to preach the gospel of Christ at any given place they may find themselves, Christ becomes our role model in love, kindness, and integrity.

As a leader that you are, are you  imitating Christ just as apostle paul did?

Many followers had been led astray today from the truth in God through selfish desire of their leaders, many failed to be accountable before men.

As a leader at one position or the other, are you accountable?, do you posses integrity?, can people vouche for you not to talk of God?...

You may live a deceiving life before men, but you can never deceive God. Your hypocritical life style will soon be exposed one day and you will give account on all did.

Live justly before men, let your garment be without spot, stand firm in integrity and lead people according to the desire of God.

Do not be an obstacle through which many will fall.

God bless you.

Prayer key:

1. Lord thank you for the blessing of today in Jesus Christ name

2. Lord, help me to live rightly before you in Jesus Christ name.

3. Lord, help me not to lead people astray in Jesus Christ name.

4. Thank you Lord for answered prayers in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
