Don't feel Inferior
2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
Everyone is created uniquely by God in many different ways, there is no mistake in God's making and the scripture affirms that everything God created was good. Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Meanwhile, the sin man committed brought about inferiority among men, it brought defects in the creation of God, but as a compassionate God, as he has given his only son as a sacrificial lamb to bring perfection into the life of man, no one should feel inferior again, as Christ is perfect, so are we who believes and walk according to his tracings
Today, many people suffer from some form of inferiority. Inferiority comes by comparing those things in our lives which are unchangeable to those features in other people. If we compare our parents or gender or physical features or mental capacity or race or genotype with others, we make them or ourselves the standard of what is acceptable rather than Jesus Christ. He’s the standard of what is acceptable to God.
The result of comparing ourselves with others is usually a rejection of our own selfhood, our own God-given perfect features. And when we reject the design of our perfect features, we have difficulty accepting our Designer as a personal God and loving Heavenly Father who wants the best for us.
You need not to feel inferior in what lever situation you find yourself, either by colour, family, language, background, health, geographical location etc, God's plans for you is greater than what your eyes can see, by feeling inferior will hinder God's given purpose in your life from coming to fulfilment.
Paul warned the Christians at Corinth not to compare themselves with themselves or with others. he says in verse 12 “we would not dare classify ourselves or compare ourselves with those who rate themselves so highly.” And he goes on to say that “they make up their own standards to measure themselves by and judge themselves by their own standards! That’s what brings on the bondage of inferiority.
By feeling inferior, you put yourself in the bondage of rejection and negativity, progress, success, and breakthrough will become difficult because the devil will hold unto your conviction.
Break out from the bondage of inferiority, accept whom God has made you to be, humble yourself before him and let him made you to the perfect pieces he so desires.
Reflect the marvelous works of God in your just as king David affirms in Psalms 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made, don't feel inferior. You are a perfect and master piece of God's creativity.
God bless you.
