Not all was Restored

John  3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Man fell short of the glory of God in the garden of Eden after disobeying the only instruction God gave, man was cursed and sent out of the beautiful garden of peace, joy and happiness.

Genesis  3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.  3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

But God in His infinity mercy made a plan for man's ultimate redemption, he gave his only begotten Son to die for mankind so that what we lost in the garden could be restored. Man was redeemed and we become hairs of God's righteousness.

But, man's forgiveness through christ death and resurrection does not totally restore all what  man lost in the garden,

Unto the woman

Genesis  3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee

God cursed the woman, sorrow came upon women monthly and even at giving birth, man was not initially made to rule over women, they were both created equally, but sin brought the superiority against women... And of a truth, Christ death did not restore the equality or stop the Labour pain.

Unto the man.

3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;  3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;  3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Man became burden bearer for the rest of his life, if he doesn't work, he won't eat, with hardship and toil will he till the ground, and even the ground will bring forth thorns and thistles...in sweat will man eat...  The death of Christ did not ultimately return man to the life before sin.

God will forgive your sins, the blood of Christ will wash away your sins, and restore your soul back to God, but you will continue to live with the scar of sin on you...

The death of Christ did not restore us back to the garden we were once sent out, neither does it give us the privilege to see God face to face in this present life.

Samson was a mighty man of strength, raised by God himself to deliver the Israelite from their oppressors, he was greatly endowed with supernatural strength, he went away from the will of God through the lust of the eyes and the flesh, he dines with the devil and got his eyes and power plugged out. Though he prayed for renewal of strength, which the Lord answered, but that does not restore his two eyes..... The scar of sin.

David committed adultery with Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah and still kill him, he was condemned by God through prophet Nathan, although he came back to his senses and pleaded for forgiveness, that does not reverse the spoken word of God, the child died... And trouble came upon his household.... The scar of sin

You may sin  and still say God will forgive you, after all God is rich in mercy and grace, but believe me, what you will lose in sin will not totally be resorted after forgiveness, you will continue to live with the scar for the rest of your life... At a time, you will wish it never happen.

It is better to stay holy, clinged to God always than to fall into sin continually thinking the grace of God is sufficient....

The bitterness of the scar of sin is greater than its pleasure.

Before you sin, think of what you will lose that forgiveness will never return.

God bless you.
