Watch what you say
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
There are so many forms of power that exist in the life of a man, but the one that easily have effect on our life is the power of the words that comes from our mouth.
There is authority in what we say, especially when it comes from the depth of our heart.
The Bible says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks... But have you taken consideration of what comes from your heart to your mouth, which eventually becomes the weapon of war you shoot out?
Many of the problems we get into today are mostly caused by what we have decreed on our lives knowingly and unknowingly... These words has become life that fight against our destiny day after day.
Checking the lives of many who had used the words of their mouth to changed the destiny of others...
1. Noah... Genesis 9:21
Genesis 9:24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. 9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
Noah was drunk, Ham saw his nakedness, but when he awoke, He couldn't caution his mouth, he cursed canaan immediately, and that changed the destiny of canaan today.. His land was taken over by the children of Israel, just because of the words that came out of the mouth of Noah.
2. Elisha... 2 Kings 2:23-24
2 Kings 2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 2:24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
No doubt Elisha just received double power of Elijah, but what was his first use of power... It was to kill forty two children who mocked him while coming back... Not minding that they were just little children who are not wise...
His decree changed their destiny forever, they died without fulling destiny.
What have you been saying concerning yourself?
What have you been saying concerning your children?
What words has been coming out of your mouth towards your spouse and marriage?
What words has been coming from your mouth towards your business, job, and the nation you are in.
Whatever you say about yourself comes to pass, especially when they are evil thoughts that comes from the depth of your heart.
Guide your mouth so that evil words will not proceed out of it.
When you are angry, watch what you say
When you are extremely happy, watch your tongue
When you are in problem, caution what comes out of your mouth.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Always decree good things about yourself and everything around you.
