Consistency; The Secret to God's blessing.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Our God does not change and is not affected by time or season, He is the same yesterday, today and forever... Whoever that will serve Him and enjoy His wonderful blessings must be consistent in service and worship to Him.
Consistency in God is doing what pleases God each time, every time for a long time..
Many of us always break our relationship or intimacy with God due to pressures of the world, lust of the world, spiritual laxity or even carried away by the little blessing God test us with.
Many only have intimacy with God when they are in trouble, they get close to God when they want to receive something from Him, but God delights much in those who are consistent in faith, service, and worship to Him.
Jesus said, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me” (John 15:4). That is the secret of spiritual growth: to abide. To abide means to stay in a given place. For believers, it means to maintain unbroken fellowship with God. It is regularity. It is consistency. And it results in producing lasting fruit.
Another way of abiding is walking with God. As 1 John 2:6 says, “He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” Walking speaks of consistent motion. That means making time for the Word of God and for prayer every day.
God is not a special dress that you reserve for special occasion, He is not an option that gets pickup when you ran out of other options, this is the reason many are not blessed, this is the reason many prayers are not answered.
Our consistency in God determines His quick response to our cry and needs whenever we call on to Him.
Ways to be consistent in God.
1. In Faith
God desires that our faith in Him is not moved, shaken or broken in any situation... And those who stand firm always is glorified in Him.. Isaiah 26:4Trust in the Lord God always, for in the Lord Jehovah is your everlasting strength.
2. In Holiness and Righteousness
Those that will walk with God must be holy, but our holiness in God must be consistent and be an on and off situation,, many claim to be holy, but they often fall into sin, this is not a nature God wants from us, God desires most in those who are consistent in their holy walk with Him. 1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
3. In Thanksgiving
It is evident that thanksgiving is what God desires mostly from us, even in our communication with Him, we are encouraged to have more time for thanksgiving than request.
But sadly many only thank God when the situation is favourable or only after receiving good thing from God, whereas God demands our heart of thanksgiving always, all the time, in every situation. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

4. In Prayer
Many of us don't have a Prayer life, and prayer is one of the ways we communicate with God, it is said "communication is one of the tools that strengthen a relationship" , but when our life lacks prayer, our relationship with God becomes broken,
We will not receive from Him and His mind towards us will not be revealed.
Many only pray when they are in horrible situation, but we fail to know that prayer is more thank just asking from God or fighting one battle... In prayer we thank God, in prayer we praise God, in prayer we make our request known and in prayer He makes His will known to us.
Are you praying always?
5. In Obedience
While waking with God, we must be ready to obey God's word, and instructions always without any reservations... Those who enjoy God's blessing the most are those who act according to the directions of God without question..
Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
Everyday God gives us commands that will benefit us, but are we obeying them always?, the secret to God's blessing is our constituency in obedience to Him.

God delights more in those who consistently seek in, serve him, worship him and obey Him.
Your blessings in God is determined by your consistency in Him.
