God is disappointed in you

Mark  11:13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.  11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

We have a story of Jesus and his disciples traveling from Bethany going to Jerusalem for His missionary work, along the way He was hungry as came by into a fig tree hoping to have something to eat on it. (Mark  11:12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:)

But unfortunately, the tree only had leaves but without figs which should have quench Jesus' hunger... So as He was disappointed, He cursed the tree that no man shall eat thereof... And the tree dried up... (Mark  11:20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.)

Do you think Jesus was wicked?, or because he has attitude whenever He's hungry?. Let's check it out...

Understanding the fig tree.

The fig tree was barren, for a tree not to have fruit means the tree is barren, Jesus was expecting fruit from it, but He noticed it was barren... Yet, was that enough reason for Jesus to have cursed it?

Note: the fig tree was not just the bearing fruit for the first time, it was planted on the road side, it is expected of it to bear fruit for passersby

The fig tree enjoys every benefit any fruit bearing tree should have, talk of water, sunlight, and good land... Because the fresh leaves means the tree enjoys the benefits of mother nature. Yet it bear no fruit.

The reason Jesus cursed it.

A fruit bearing fig tree must have fruit whenever it grows leaves, the leaves are expected to cover the fruits, so anyone who sees a fig tree with fresh leaves must believe it has fruits... So also Jesus Christ was first happy to have seen the fig tree with leaves, but on getting closer, it has no fruit.. So He cursed it.

Dear reader... Are you different?

Just like the fig tree...

God has blessed you with salvation, gifts of the spirit, good health, wealth and riches, wisdom and understanding to survive and bear fruit for Him... But you choose to remain barren.... God is disappointed in you.

You suppose to lead people to Christ, but your life is the reason many determine not to repent... Because of your continuous sin and disguise of being with Christ.... God is disappointed in you.
Matthew 23:13
(13-14) “Woe to you, Pharisees, and you other religious leaders. Hypocrites! For you won’t let others enter the Kingdom of Heaven and won’t go in yourselves. And you pretend to be holy, with all your long, public prayers in the streets, while you are evicting widows from their homes. Hypocrites!

You do not sin, but your character, ways of life makes another to sin, ( Luke 17:1“There will always be temptations to sin,” Jesus said one day to his disciples, “but woe to the man who does the tempting.)   God is disappointed in you.

The gifts God has given you that should be a tool to bring souls to the kingdom has never won a single soul for many years God has blessed you.... God is very disappointed you

You have been ordained to be a Pastor, an Apostle, a Teacher or an Evangelist, you are suppose to bear fruit of holiness, righteousness and spiritual growth, but you only draw before to yourself by eye cathing leaves, and leave people hunger for the things of the spirit...... God is disappointed in you.

When we genuinely repent and begin living for God, fruit will be born in our lives that will soon be evident to all that pass by. Likewise, a failure to repent and live for God will show a lack of fruit, equally evident.

The presence or absence of fruit in the lives of those who claim to be God's people is an important issue to God

"Bring forth fruit in keeping with repentance," said John the Baptizer in Matthew 3:8.

Jesus said  "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit." (John 15:5)

"By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit..." said Jesus in John 15:8.

"Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire," said John in Matthew 3:10.

Knowing this, should you now say Jesus was wicked to have cursed the fig tree...?

Do you think God is wicked if He should cut you down?

God is very disappointed in you, He has sent many messages and messengers to you in the past. And this is another one for you to repent and start bearing fruits for Him

Else, He will come very soon to cut you down, for you are a disappointment to the earth and His kingdom

This message may be your last... Go back to God, humble yourself, and start bearing fruits... You can't enjoy God's resources and choose not to bear fruit.

The time is ticking, you never know when Jesus will pass by hungry...

God bless you.
