What is your status before Him
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
In the creation of the world, God created humanity in the divine image, this divine image was altered after the sin of Adam and Eve, Romans 3:9-20 reveals to us that we are all sinners and guilty before God. We have no fear of Him and hate His laws which he lovingly gave us, in other for us to measure up to his righteousness and acceptability.
The death and resurrection of Christ Jesus has given everyone the new life to come boldly before the father through grace.
As much as we keep living our life in this world and in expectation of the second coming or death, we should all know that we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
The question is, what is your status before God now?
What will your status be before Him if you die now or the trumpet should sound now?
Your status before men does not equate your status before God, people may see you as a fire cracker in this world, pulling crowds of crusade, people falling under your anointing, yet before God you are fire extinguisher.
You may be vast in the word eloquent in speaking, good in counselling and vibrant in the services of God, yet you have been an unprofitable servant before Him
What is your status before God?
You have made yourself as demigod on earth, those that must approach you must be people of high caliber, those of high profile and well connected... But do you know you will stand side by side with someone you thought is worthless in this world when you shall receive your reward?
What is your status before Him?
You may have the most beautify cathedral in this world but do you have a house not to talk of the most beautiful in the kingdom of God?
You may have the largest congregation in this world, there may not be enough space to accommodate your members anymore, but do you have the same number of saint attached to your record before God?
What is your status before Him?
Sister holier than thou, people see you as a dedicated sister in the choir, you have never missed any service even if six services will be conducted, people see you as a direct picture of a child of God, but when the Lord shall weigh your life, you are as a stinking rag and a daughter of Jezebel ... What is your status before Him?
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
You may be a General oversea here on earth and have no record with God, yet the least usher in your ministry might be the most recognised before God.
People may see you as a philanthropist, a very loving and caring father figure and highly respected in the society, but to God, you are a devil in disguise.
Check your life today and ask yourself, if my life should be given a pass mark before God, will I score one or two out of hundred before Him?
No matter who you are in this world, no matter your status here on earth, no matter how highly profiled you elevate yourself to be, everyone will all stand before God to receive reward of what we have done in the flesh
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (Revelation 22:11-22)
Nevertheless, the time is now to repent, once you die there is no remedy, once the trumpet sound, the grace of God become ineffective, and the blood of Jesus becomes powerless to save.
Don't live to regret at the end.
