Passing over to your Jordan

Joshua  1:11 Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.

A time of God's deliverance came  in the life of the Israelite,  this deliverance came in phases as they progress in their journey to the promise land.

it started with different kind plagues from water turning to  Blood  then Frogs to Lice or gnats and Flies, their Livestock perishes and came Boils all over their body. Hail and Locust follows and also total darkness  before  Death of firstborn which ushered in their Exodus.

Their freedom from Egypt was not actually their total freedom, it was the first phase of their deliverance and repositioning to their own land.

There are many obstacles to face on their way, such was the red sea, the Amalekites, and the wilderness experiences such as lack of food, bitter water, snake bites among others... All these were part of the phases of their redemption.

Here comes the crossing of Jordan

Crossing the Jordan is a turning point on the way to freedom. The waters of the Jordan represent freedom from oppression, breakthrough, and deliverance. In Deuteronomy 30:18-20, the Israelites were reaching the last leg of their journey through the wilderness en route to the promised land.

Jordan signifies the light at the end of the turning after a long crawling in darkness, yet here stood before them the river Jordan and the Wall of Jericho

God told Joshua to charge up the people, for in three days their wilderness experiences will be over, their sojourning will end, and they will have peace in the land He has promised from a time pass

You can leave Egypt but may be lost in the wilderness if you choose to forsake the Lord GOD who brought you out of Egypt.

Many left Egypt but lost their faith at the Red sea, many lost their faith during the snake bite, many lost hope before the armies of Amalekites in their life

Many fainted on sighting the jordan river which would have been their last phase of troubles and deliverance. Such are depression, sickness  trouble, lack, disappointment etc.

Joshua didn't faint at the Jordan River, instead he exercise faith, receive all the instructions from God and apply them accordingly. This bring testimony and total deliverance. They crossed over the river Jordan and conquer Jericho.

What are you going through and you think the more  you pray, the more your problem becomes complicated?, do not faint, you are at the jordan River, do not give up, it is the last phases of your redemption. After the night comes the morning.

Hear what the Lord says in Isaiah  41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Don't give up when you pray and your life becomes more complicated, though weeping may last till the night,  joy will surly come in the morning.

Don't give up at the Jordan River else you will not see Jericho flowing with milk and honey.

God bless you.
