The blessing of the Lord
Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
God's care for his people is immeasurable, his plans has always been perfect and true. Before the creation of man He had made available everything man needed for survival without even working for it. The only task given to man was to maintain the already made wealth.
The sin of man brought about hardship, toil, Hard work and pain, all these, man must experience in other to survive in this world.
Nevertheless, the blessing of the lord is still very much available for those who trust in Him and can call unto Him in all their processes of getting wealth and becoming rich. The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
The blessing of the lord alone is the one that makes one rich and adds no sorrow to it. The blessing of the world or from the devil will definitely make you rich but comes with it's sorrow.
When one is blessed spiritually and physically by working according to the will of God, there is no regret thereafter when it's time to enjoy the blessings you have already made.
The question is, are you following God's principles of wealth and blessing or you are cutting corners?
God's principle of blessings and wealth is work, pray and expect increase, anything you do to accumulate wealth that nullifies work will eventually bring endless sorrow and pain.
Joseph would have cut conner to become wealthy by sleeping with his master's wife, he could demand for anything, he could plan with her a way to eliminate Potiphar so as to take over the wealth. But he didn't he said in Genesis 39:9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
When the true blessing of the lord came, he was blessed more than Potiphar his master. He trusted in the plan and process of God's blessings, he didn't cut conners, he waited endured the pain and witnessed the Lord's blessing which added no sorrow for the rest of his life.
Are you not cutting conners today?, because of the economic melt down, because of the inflation, because of the wicked government policies, you have decided to find a route of sin to make money.
Because people are doing it, getting rich instantly without working for it, acquiring wealth through the business plan of the devil, you also follow suit. The begining may be sweet and satisfying, but the end will be full of pain, sorrow and regret.
The blessing of the lord alone is the one that added no sorrow, it may not be as much as you expected at first, but it will give peace of mind, joy and long life.
Hear what the Lord says... For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses. (Isaiah 44:3-44)
God's promises are ever sure, whatever He says is what He will do, He has done it in the past and He can still do it again.
Do not despise your humble begining, if it's not much, continue and pray along, don't be jealous of those who follow the swift road to make wealth, trust in God with the works of your hand, pray and expect God's increase over your businesses.
Don't cut conner made by the devil else, your life will be cut short without remedy.
