Be nice to your Angel
Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Angels are spiritual beings created by God to serve many purpose and duties in the spirit world. Some are created as messengers who delivers messages for God, some are warriors who fight battles for God, these were evident at the fall of Satan one of the archangels of God.
At the creation of man who carries the spirit of God, angels were designated for everyone to serve specific purposes, to receive our prayers and present to God and to receive answers to our prayers and deliver back to us.
Angels can not exist in this planet earth with their angelic form, so most time they manifest in the life of humans that have a body in this world.
Angels(messengers of God) manifest in different ways, they can manifest in the form of strangers, friends, colleagues at work, your domestic worker that work for you , children, ministers of God, beggars etc. Your relationship with them will determine their willingness to deliver God's message or not.
Some comes to you to test your character, behaviour, love, faith in God, temperament to handle situation and your hope in God, the way you relate with them will determine their service in your life.
Abraham never knew he was entertaining the angels of God when they passed through his aboard, Genesis 18:2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 18:3 And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: 18:4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: 18:5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
Abraham was a very good example of a hospitable man, he gave food, shelter for those he never knew, He washed their feet, as they looked tired form a long journey.
These three men appeared after Abraham had prayed to God, and they appear to approve his prayers and also to deliver God's message unto Sodom and Gomarah.
His act of hospitality to them gave Sarah the fruit of the womb and also saved lot and his family from the destruction of Sodom and Gomarah.
A shunamite woman entertain prophet Elisha and Gehazi whenever they pass through her house for ministration, not knowing she's entertaining her angel that will approve her child from God.
2 Kings 4:9 And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. 4:10 Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.
How well have you treated your angel?
Your angel might be your students as a lecturer, but your wicked behaviour towards them closed heaven upon you.
Your angel may be your wife, but your promiscuous behaviour of adultery and consistent wicked act against her as locked heaven and God's blessing upon you.
Your angel may be your neighbour, children, your pastor, your mentee etc. The way your relate with them will determine God's blessings upon you.
Your unanswered prayers may be because of how you have mistreated your angel in the past and present.
Some has lost their one time opportunity, some are loosing their chance. Turn a new leaf and treat everyone with love, you never can tell who among all is your angel from God.
Be nice to your angel.
