Renew your youth like the Eagle {Psalms 103:5}

Day1:  Remember now thy creator

Ecclesiastes  12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

The youth age is considered the most interesting, vibrant, vigorous, versatile and active period in one’s life. It is the age of strength, in which knowledge is acquired, experience is gained, and the age that prepares one for middle age activities. The youthful age is the most captivating time of a human being. Little wonder, it is referred to as the prime or spring of life! Because at this phase is when the future is determined. (the Guardian)

Nevertheless, this is the time the devil tries to capture the mind many youth, in other to ruin their life, both physically and spiritually. The devil present so many pleasant but deadly offers which are compelling to the body and soul but in latter time drags the soul to hell.

But If one builds a spiritual life from the days of his youth, when he becomes old, he will not live with the regret of having wasted his youth on foolish things.

Evil days is the difficult days of old age, youth should use their days to do things for God and others before they grow old and lose their mobility.Living with the aches and pains of old age is not a joy, in old age one begins to realize his mortality, being frustrated they he will not be able to live long enough to accomplish all his dreams..

 1 Timothy  4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

A believer is the one who has the character of christ, who has the spirit of God living in him, by this we become evidence of Christ in words, conversation, in love, in faith and in purity to the world we live in.

It is so sad today that many youth have turn towards the way of destruction because of wrong influences in the society which come from friends, colleagues, social media and even in the church congregation.

Remember now, thy creator.

Obadiah.

1 Kings  18:12 And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from my youth.

Obadiah was a youth who served as a governor in the house of the  terrible king Ahab who was hunting for the prophets of God and successfully killed many. With being terrible and wicked, Obadiah did not compromise his faith in  the God of Israel, he hided about one hundred prophets of God from being killed by his master.  He remain faithful and was a tool used in the hand of God despite  being in a tight situation.

Samuel,
1 Samuel  2:26 And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.

Samuel was a child of promise dedicated to the Lord from infant, and was a young priest who was tutored under the mastery of Eli, despite being among the sons of rebellion of Eli, who knew not the lord even as much as their father was a priest of God, Samuel did not let the circumstance around him to jeopardise the promise and covenant for his life.

King Joash

2 Chronicles  24:1 Joash was seven years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Zibiah of Beersheba.  24:2 And Joash did that which was right in the sight of the LORD all the days of Jehoiada the priest.  24:3 And Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he begat sons and daughters.  24:4 And it came to pass after this, that Joash was minded to repair the house of the LORD.

Joash was just a young boy and became king over Jerusalem, he did not let power, authority, and wealth to intoxicate him while ruling the people, he sort to know more of God, so he repaired the temple and gather the books of the law of God. He did what is right before the Lord throughout his reign.

Virgin Mary.

This was a young girl who has made covenant with her virginity to the Lord, never to be defiled by any man, she grew in the ways of the Lord and she found favour in the sight of God to be the mother of the Saviour.

How about you today?, how are you living your youthful life?, are you living your life as God pleases or as you please?

Ecclesiastes  12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

No matter the situation you find yourself, or circumstances around, always remember God and do His will, in words, in deeds, in conversation and in purity.

The evil days come shortly. How will you stand the trials, and the sorrow in the lake of fire..
