The lord shall give you a say

Psalms  126:1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

The history behind the book of Psalm 126 was the restoration of the children of Israelite after the  babylonian captivity. The nation had been taken into captivity because of their idolatry. God approves their freedom after sure repentance.

Coming out of captivity was like a dream come true, they never believed thy would be released, they could not believe that God would work in the lives of pagan Kings in order to allow then to return to their own land

The announcement of their release was a great joy and they were all full of excitement... Indeed the Lord gave them a say over their enemies who thought they would never come back to their own land.

Psalms  126:2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.  126:3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

What are you going through also today that has taken your joy and peace?, what captivity are you in that makes you think your matter is impossible for God to solve?

The Lord is telling you today that He will give you a say.

You may have been mocked and ridiculed, your reproach may have denied you the right of association, but today, the Lord says, He will give you a say

Hannah lived with the stigma of being a barren woman, everyday her rival provoked her to anger, yet she never stop trusting God. At the long run, God gave her a say, God took away her reproach and replace it with laughter. She said in 1 Samuel  2:1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.  2:2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

Whatsoever you are going through, God will definitely give you a say

Psalms  126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.  126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

This shall be your your testimony, you may have sowed with tears, but God says you will reap in joy,

You may have prayed with a bitter heart, invested in business with everything you have, you may have gone to several places looking for job, you may be barren without a child, you may be down with sickness, you may have been disappointed in several places. But today, the Lord says, He will give you a say and your mouth will be full of laughter and singing.

The is the word of the LORD for you today.

God bless you.
