Speak Out: When ungodly act persist around You
James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
Becoming a believer in Christ makes us carry in ourselves a new nature of Christ which shun sin and eschew evil. Our life becomes reprogrammed in the righteousness and holiness of God.
Having this light of righteousness shining in our life, then our light is expected to shine through the darkness of this world. Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
But it is so sad and heartbreaking that those that suppose to shine their light of righteousness in the darkness of the sinful world hide their light and walk away from the darkness that should disappear at thier presence.
Wickedness and godlessness persist because those that suppose to speak out and shun evil are the ones embracing and romancing the evil act, at some others they walk away and show less or no concern.
The word of God says... James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
This implies that, any Saint who doesn't show concern about sinful act around them makes then become a sinner.
It is a sin for you to see wickedness and refuse to expose it at when due, you and the sinner are guilty of the same sin.
Many justify their actions of keeping mute against evil by the word "thou shall not judge", and in the process of this, wickedness continues, sin persist and when the real judgment comes, both the Saint and the sinner will all have a part in it.
People don’t like their evil exposed and people don’t like you exposing anyone else so you don’t expose them. These so-called believers today will go against God’s Word and stand up for the devil and fight against God by condoning and supporting wickedness.
You are to hate everything that God hates. Every biblical leader stood up against evil and many even lost their lives for speaking against it. There is a reason Jesus says true believers will be hated and persecuted. If you desire to live a godly life you will be persecuted and there is no way around it.
That is why many believers stay quiet whenever they’re on the hot seat they hush up in fear of man. Jesus spoke up, Stephen spoke up, Paul spoke up so why are we quiet? We must not be afraid to rebuke others. If someone is going astray from Christ are you going to be silent so they won’t hate you or are you going to humbly and lovingly say something?
The Holy Spirit will convict the world of its sins. If we stop defending Christianity, exposing evil, rebuking false teachers, and confronting believers we will have more people lost and led astray. More people will believe false teachings.
You cannot confess to be standing with God and be comfortable with evil acts around you.
You pray for good leaders but you fail to expose the bad leaders around you, you celebrate them because you don't want to step on their toes.
Many ministers of the Gospel will go to hell because they have raised the standard of "always right, and always holy" thereby making it difficult for people to caution them and advice them whenever thy are digressing from the faith, many are afraid because of the popular verse of the scripture "touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm"
Speak out whenever evil and wickedness persist around you irrespective of the status of the person, else you will be judged of the same sin.
Ephesians 5:11-13
[11]Take no part in and have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds and enterprises of darkness, but instead [let your lives be so in contrast as to] expose and reprove and convict them.
[12]For it is a shame even to speak of or mention the things that [such people] practice in secret.
[13]But when anything is exposed and reproved by the light, it is made visible and clear; and where everything is visible and clear there is light.
Speak out now, before God judge you as an accomplis.
