Brindle your whole Body 2 {Heart : The sit for all thoughts}

Mark 7:20-23  And He said, What comes out of a man is what makes a man unclean and renders [him] unhallowed.

[21]For from within, [that is] out of the hearts of men, come base and wicked thoughts, sexual immorality, stealing, murder, adultery,
[22]Coveting (a greedy desire to have more wealth), dangerous and destructive wickedness, deceit; unrestrained (indecent) conduct; an evil eye (envy), slander (evil speaking, malicious misrepresentation, abusiveness), pride (the sin of an uplifted heart against God and man), foolishness (folly, lack of sense, recklessness, thoughtlessness).
[23]All these evil [purposes and desires] come from within, and they make the man unclean and render him unhallowed.

In continuation of yesterday's teaching, the Lord is taking us through another area of the body today, which is the heart... The heart of man is like the processing unit of all man's actions, it defines the totality of man.

The heart of man is a secret place where all thoughts, actions, intentions and actions are formed.. Whatever the heart produces will either Make or Mar the man, and that defines who the man is before God.

Jesus is teaching the disciples that, what a man takes in does not defile  the body, but what comes out of the man... This was contrary to the believe of the Leviticus law about eaten certain food and not eating certain food.

But Jesus bring to the notice that what resides in the heart of man defiles the body which are...

1. Wicked thoughts:
There are many people whose thought are evil everyday against another person, without being offended... They just hate other people without cause... If the wicked thoughts get root in the heart, it will turn to action... The Lord says bridle it, don't let it get root... Rebuke the evil thoughts immediately.

2. Sexual immorality,
This is very common among the youth today, and it was first concealed in the heart before turning into action and addiction. But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Even if the thought comes bridle it and rebuke it before it defiled your whole  body... Giving room for it will result to rape, romance, foreplay, sex, watching of porn, masturbation, gaysm and lesbianism.

3. Stealing,
When you can't control your desire to have what is not yours, and can't work for it, the thoughts of stealing comes... It is first concealed in the heart before it turns to actions... Failure to bridle it will turn the person to an addicted thief and latter becomes an Armed Robber... When the thoughts come, rebuke it by the name of the Lord and find peace in His words

4. Murder:
When the evil thought is concealed, it will eventually turn to murder, the desire to wipe the other person out of the land of the living wil set in... Remember the first murderer. Genesis  4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.  4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.. 

Now you can think of how many souls you have murdered, which makes you become a sinner and a murderer before God.. And remember for every soul you kill either directly or indirectly, , the Lord will request for their blood in your hands except you repent.. Remember David and Uriah

5. Adultery
Adultery is when a married man or woman begins to have extra  marital affaire without the knowledge of their partner. The thought was first concealed in the heart... The thought that your partner is no longer good enough  for you, or does not satisfy you enough than you wanted or because you are irritated by their presence... All this thoughts are sin before God, when you let it get roots in your heart, it will lead to the sin of adultery.. And this will not only defile your body but also destroy your home and relationship with God. Remember David and Bathsheba.

6. Coveting (a greedy desire to have more wealth),
Many people are in the mad rush to acquire wealth today without working for it., they conceal greedy desire to drive the latest car, to have a beautiful house, to appear goodly among colleagues, some want more wealth even some ministers of God are not left out... When all these thoughts becomes rooted in the heart, it turns to action of fraud, cyber crimes, looting, Robbery, money laundry, money rituals etc. Irrespective of the nature, some in public offices, banking industry, political office holders, elected leaders, among the youths and even in the church of God etc.
The Lord says bridle the desire, work and let God bless the little in your hand... Be contented.

7. Dangerous and destructive wickedness,
We have seen this act around us, the thoughts  has resulted in kidnapping, Banditry, burning of houses and worship centers, killing for money etc... All these thoughts are first concealed in the heart before it becomes an action... The Lord says you should bridle it

8. Deceit ;
Many people will act and look godly and harmless, but what reside in their heart is evil... They appear friendly but deep inside they are enemies... They praise on the outside but causes resides in their heart...
The Lord says you should bridle it.. Before it destroy you.

9. Unrestrained (indecent) conduct;
Many has taken to indecent conduct, both in behaviour and in character, some of these defile the societal norms... This makes many becomes touts, "area boys" , Cross dressers, inappropriate dressing, and addiction.  The Lord says you should bridle it... Restrain from it before it destroy you.

10 An evil eye (envy),
When you are not happy with the success of another person, when you are not happy with their progress, you become consumed with anger whenever you see them... You become a sinner before the Lord... The Lord says bridle that thought, else it leads to gossip, then evil action against such people.

11.  Slander (evil speaking, malicious misrepresentation, abusiveness),
This is very common, talking bad about another person, saying what is not without finding the real truth. Even when the bible says... 1 Thessalonians  5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
Bridle that thoughts of carrying fake news about someone and gossiping evil.

12. Pride (the sin of an uplifted heart against God and man),
Just because of the little resources God gave some people, just because of the opportunity some have, they have uplifted their heart against man and God, thinking they are the greatest and no one can question their authority or reach them in greatness.. Whereas their soul is in the hand of God and can be requested withing a minute.

Bridle that thought of pride and be humble... For the Lord hate the pride in heart but give respect unto the humble.

Which of these abominations reside in your heart?, having them has made you a defiled person before God and everything you do before Him becomes abomination.

Bridle your heart today, and let your whole body be purified.
There is great gain.
