Knocked down, but not out

2 Corinthians  4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;  4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

The game of boxing is a very interesting game to watch, which sometimes consist of rounds of play... The players will fight to win through out the rounds which can even be for about ten.

A player can be knocked down several times with many bruises on his/her body, but that doesn't determine he/she has lost the fight. The ability to stand up and continue the fight sometimes scare the other opponent to lose the game totally.

So also is the journey of a believer in Christ, you are persecuted daily, both physical and spiritual, devil fight daily and keeps knocking you down in the ring of salvation... But the grace of God is there always to help you  stand up and fight again and again till you win.

Considering the life of Samson in the scripture...

He was knocked down when his powers were striped from him, even more when his eyes were taken away from him, but he didn't die like a failure, He didn't allow his enemy to knock him out.

He prayed in his troubled hearth, that the Lord could grant him grace again, and the power to destroy his enemies. And God answered his prayers....
Judges  16:30 And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

Have you been knocked down by temptations? Have you fallen into sin?, why regret son long, why conclude over your life and let the enemy rejoice?, stand up and guide yourself to continue the fight of faith.

It is not a problem when you fall, but it becomes a problem when you refuse to stand up

It is not a problem to fall into temptation, but a grater problem if you let the temptation take over your life

Are you being Persecuted for being a believer in Christ and for preaching the Gospel?

Is the world taking away your rightful benefits just because you don't want to compromise your faith and you feel like giving up?

As the devil crept into your family and has caused separation or on the verge of divorce which seems you want to give up?

Stan up, guide yourself again, it is not over, continue the fight, ask for grace and power so that you will say with confidence "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;  Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed"

You are only knocked down, you are not out yet.

Whatever disappointment, failure, setbacks, hindrances, heartbreaks and rejections  you are facing now is just a knocked down, and it's not a knockout

Find peace in the words of God and pray for strength, for you shall surely win..

God bless you.
