God Addicted

Romans  6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Addiction is an inability to stop using a substance or engaging in a behavior even though it is causing psychological and physical harm.

The term addiction does not only refer to dependence on substances such as heroin or cocaine. Some addictions also involve an inability to stop partaking in activities such as gambling, eating, or working.

Becoming God addict is being obsessed with the Holy spirit and unable to stop being spiritually minded in every minutes of one's life.

Confessing Jesus Christ as the Lord is the first step to salvation and the process of knowing God, but many only ends their spiritual life stagnant since that very day, they refuse to grow and become like Him.

Apostle Paul said... In Romans  6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

This gives understanding that, we do not only partake in his life alone but also partook in His death.

As being a God addict, you do not strike balance between your will and His will, you rather give all your totality to Him, and whatever He says you do.

When you make decisions in life according to the directions of God, people will see you as being insane, because they do not have an understanding of the decisions you have made.

Becoming God addict...

1. You must not live a life of sin.
Being addicted with God will make you hate sin with passion, For God is holy and His eyes cannot Behold evil or sin, so also anyone addicted with Him.

At every places you are, you do not condole sin, either in the house of God, at your place of work, among your colleagues, in fact everywhere, sin becomes your enemy.  Apostle Paul said  in Romans  6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?.. So it is a taboo for an addict in God to be found with sin.

2. Crucify the flesh.
Being an addict means you have crucify the flesh totally and guiding your life from temptation of any kind.

You are no longer afraid loose all in this world in other to gain all of Christ, you are not concerned about your purpose in this world but your purpose in Christ and God...... Galatians  5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

3. They exhibit the fruit of the spirit daily.
The fruit of the spirit are visible characteristics of a life changed by Jesus Christ and an addict in God. These fruit of the spirit becomes their daily traits wherever they go to. These fruit of the spirit are. Galatians  5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
