Fear, the greatest enemy to Success
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, it is the favourable outcome or result. But as good as success is, it doesn't come easy, it is most time obstructed by one great enemy called fear
Fear on the other hand is an unpleasant emotion or thought that you have when you are frightened or worried by something dangerous painful, or bad that is happening or might happen.
Fear has stopped many from succeeding or reaching the Zenithal of their destiny, the feeling of uncertainty, what will happen made many to quit.
So also is our faith and salvation in God is often confronted with this same enemy called Fear, it has robed many off their true potential in Christ and inheritance with God.
Our walk with God is often full of uncertainty with a promising end, it comes with unreasonable instructions that defy human knowledge and understanding, yet to achieve success we must stand in faith and not fear.
Fear is the greatest instrument the devil is using against the children of God so as not to achieve the predestined success, once he present fear to you and the fear was able to capture your thoughts, mind and have a place in your soul, the whole of you becomes overwhelmed and success becomes impossible.
There are many areas fear attacks our spirit, in business/career, in our marriage, our walk with God as a believer, in our ministry as a minister even in the society over insecurity.
But in all this God has given us the assurance and a way out.
Moses was once afraid of pharaoh and on several occasions resisted God in other not to take up the commission of leading the children of Israel out of Egypt, but on same occasions God gave him His words of assurance and encouragement (Exodus 4:10)
Even when the children of Israel got to the red sea and beholding the solders of Egypt approaching, they were all filled with fear and anxiety finding no where to run to for safety, yet God told them no to be afraid, rather to have faith and move forward. (Exodus 14)
Also consider the shunamite woman whose husband (a prophet) died leaving debt behind came to Elisha with fear seeing that the creditors are about to seize her two sons... But by the spirit of God Elisha told her to have faith and her problem was solved. (2kings 4:1)
What are you afraid of today, the future, career, business, success of your marriage, daily provisions, insecurity etc?
God said "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness"
The more you embrace fear, the more you are far from succeeding, instead of fear, have faith in God, trust in His words and follow his directions
Proverbs 29:25 Fear of man is a dangerous trap, but to trust in God means safety
Instead of fear, have faith in God, and your success is guaranteed.
God bless you.
