The reign of Christ among God's people
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
God has not left His people in confusion on earth, Jesus rules from heaven by the authority of His written word. He is the only Head of the Church, and thus, all direction of the church on earth must come form the authority of His Word.
There is no head or authority in the church on earth who is to compete with the sovereignty of Jesus as the head of the universal Church. The same is applicable in our individual life.
As our head, Jesus seeks to direct our lives through His word.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Christ seeks to help you, give you direction to life troubles, and ease your soul of pain...
As our king, we voluntarily submit to His lordship on our hearts
Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
He establishes the kingdom of God in our heart, the righteousness and holiness of God becomes our culture and tradition by which we live our daily life.
As our high priest, we trust in Jesus to take care of our sins problem before the gather.
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Our sins can never be forgiven without the sacrificial blood of Christ on the cross. It is only available to whosoever can submit to His priesthood.
If you fail to acknowledge Christ as the Lord, high priest and king of your life through His words, then the blessings in His word will not be yours.
We are encouraged to trust him for directions in our life, make him our Lord so we don't get lost in the maze of this world and eventually miss the eternity of joy and peace.
Let Christ reign in you and your life will not be in ruin.
