It was not Suicide but Sacrifice
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
The Crucification of Christ on the cross on calvary is not a suicide decision made by him, neither was it for fun to test his power of rising from the dead. It was a sacrifice of redemption to call every sinner back to the righteousness of God.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
He endured pain so we will not be in eternal pain, he was bruised so our iniquities can be erased, and endured death so we will not die the second death. It was not for fun, neither is it a suicide...
How we are tou responding to the sacrifice Christ selflessly made on the cross?, how positive are you towards the call to redemption God offers through the death of His only son?
The death of Christ on the cross becomes a murder case if you continue in your sins, and the murderer is you.
For you to have known and seen the light of God through His son and still continue in the works of the flesh and sin makes you nail Christ to the cross the second time.
Living a life of hypocrisy, having a religious life but having no element of salvation in you is a proof that you are nailing Christ to the cross the second time.
Jesus Christ is coming back again, not as a lamb that will be persecuted, mocked, despised and crucified as before, but as a long and as a judge.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Knowing fully well of the judgement of God that is coming, we should ensure to live a life that pleases him, a life of holiness and righteousness
Christ died for your sins through sacrifice, don't nail him on the cross the second time.
God bless you.
