The coming of the Lord Jesus Christ
Acts 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Jesus Christ had died for the sin of mankind, exhibiting the love of God that no one should perish in sin but have everlasting life of peace, joy and happiness with Him after being transformed into an incorruptible body.
He is coming back again, His second coming is eminent, believers in Him should be ready and be in an expectation of his coming.
The events of his coming will be quickly. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.,
He will descend with shout, a shout that will be heard in all places of the world, every ears will hear, both the deaf and the dumb will experience the shout of His second coning. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
He will be seen by every eye, both the Jews and the gentiles, those who believe and do not believe will see him. Those who are currently mocking him will have no place to hide from His appearing.
Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
He will come at an unexpected time, a time no one knows, it can be now, it can be this minute, a time not known to anyone, a time not revealed to the Angels, only known to God. He will come as thief in the night at the last trumpet. Matthew 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
The purpose of His coming is to bring light to the hidden things, to take vengeance and execute judgement on the wicked, to raise the Saint from the dead and rapture the living saints, to destroy death, to reward the Saint and reveal the glory of God to every Saint.
Every believer should be conscious of the second coming our our Lord Jesus Christ, working by preaching the Gospel to the unsaved, waiting in righteousness and holiness, ensuring their garment is spotless of sin, and desiring His second coming.
No one found in sin will be worthy of his welcome.
With the life you are living presently, how sure are you that you will be raptured if the trumpet should sound?
It will be an eternity of sorrow, weeping, pain, anguish and gnashing of teeth for anyone who misses Christ the second time.
Now is the time to register your soul in the book of life... Repent from your sin and be saved. So as not to regret when you die or when the trumpet should sound.
