Let go, let God

1 Peter 5:6-7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

There are times when life  become so difficult to live, those we trusted so much are the originator of our evil. hatred, resentment and unforgiving set in. We hold this grudge in our heart and we are not willing to let go

At some other parts of life when we expect so much from God but we receive less, we prayed for good health but we receive  death as an answered prayer. We request for good things of life but, it seems God is not up there to listen to our cry. Our faith becomes shattered and we resolve God is not powerful to save. 

All of these has become the burden we carry everyday, it changes our relationship with people and our fellowship with  God. Some have even lost hope in God, and have given up their faith in Him, yet He loves us. 

Father Abraham had been waiting for a child he would call his own for many years, he would pray, make sacrifices, and obey all of God's instructions believing God would promptly give him the desire of his heart. But instead, God kept promising him. 

His wife couldn't wait any longer, she had reached her menopause, and by the standard of man, it would be hard for her to conceive, she gave up her faith and sort of a remedy. 

But in that moment of confusion, God asked Abraham to walk before him and be perfect. Genesis  17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.. 

The same way God is speaking to you now that, let go of all the burdens in your heart and let Him heal you. 

Focusing more on your problem will rob you off the chance of getting a solution... 

If you are harbouring resentment, hatred, unforgiving and revenge because of what has been done to you in the past or the regret of the evil you have done, let it go.. And let God  give your heart the  peace it deserve. 

Joseph found peace of mind after hod has healed him of the evil his brothers did to him... For he said, Genesis  50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Only God can lead you out of the darkness of sorrow, pain, anger, revenge, regret and bitterness. 

Whatever that has occupied your heart and  is  stealing away your peace, let go of it, and let God heal you. Humbly coming to him for healing, while you cast all your burden on him. 1 Peter 5:6-7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

No one trust God and gets disappointment... Yours will not be different
