BELIEVE, BECOME , BEHAVE

1 John  4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

The transformation process of any believer is centered on the three points of believing, becoming and behaving... 

The first step to redemption is to believe that Christ is the son of God and He is the  saviour of the world, also we must believe in all his teachings, without this, salvation is never possible.  John  3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

BECOMING: It is only when we believe in Christ that we can become the son of God...Galatians  3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.  3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

It is through Christ' adoption we have access to God whom has loved us even when we were yet sinner... No one can identify with God without the sacrificial atonement of Christ on the cross. He is the only way, the truth and the life to God.... By Him we become heirs and citizen of His kingdom. 

BEHAVING: Once we become like him, then we have the same character and behaviour as He does, because his DNA has been registered in our soul and spirit 

Where we go, we become his representatives and witness, in character, Behaviour, communication and relationships. When people see us, they must see Christ, 

Whoever that has become a son of God through believing in Christ Jesus can never find it difficult to live godly in this world, as Christ was crucified so also our old nature of sin, works of the flesh and the lust of this world becomes crucified on the cross.

Behaving like Christ is to have the fruit of the spirit grow in us daily as we journey our life towards His kingdom.
Galatians  5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

You can't become a believer of Christ and say you belong to God without first believing in Christ Jesus, and you can't say you become a child of God without behaving like Christ His only begotten son.

Stop deceiving yourself, reflect on your life where you are missing it, if your character does not conform to that of Christ, then your salvation is questionable.

And if anyone desire to become a child of God must first believe Christ is the son of God.
