Nemesis

Galatians  6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

The tomorrow we prayed for yesterday, is the today we are experiencing. So also is our deeds yesterday will become the product of tomorrow.

Every of our actions today will always have a return value in our tomorrow,  if it is good deeds, goodness will come to us or our generation yet unborn, but if it is evil, nemesis will come to us and it can never be avoided. 

Nemesis is a punishment or defeat that is deserved and cannot be avoided. This is the reward for  anyone who practices evil against another man or humanity. 

Adonibezek was the king of Canaan when Judah assume leader after the death of Joshua, he was well known for his great evil in cutting the thumbs and big toes of about seventy Kings. His nemesis came after him when the children of Judah went to war against the Canaanites, just as he did for the seventy Kings, so also was done to him. 

Judges  1:6 But Adonibezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes.  1:7 And Adonibezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.

Jacob deceived his brother through the help of his mother to receive Esau's  blessings... His plans was perfectly executed and he succeeded in taking the blessings. His nemesis visited him when he was about to choose a woman for a wife, he was deceived too. Genesis  29:25 And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?  29:26 And Laban said, It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn.

This made him become a man of four wives, two legitimately and two were slaves to his wives. The return  value for his action made him not to have peace for many years and the woman he loved at heart died at a prime age. 

Whatever evil you do to people will definitely come back to you or your generations yet unborn. 

Here what the psalmist says concerning the wicked... 

Psalms  7:15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.  7:16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

This and many more are what will come hunting after the wicked.

Save your life and the next generation of evil by repenting from your evil deeds.

Tomorrow will surely bring to you the harvest of either good or bad you sowed yesterday and today.

Live godly and depart from evil.
