Play your role

Joshua  1:2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.  1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

There is a divine transition in the camp of the Israelite after the death of moses, God's servant who led them out of egypt.

Despite the death of moses, the Israelite must still continue on their journey to the promise land, so God choose Joshua as moses' successor.

Joshua  1:2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

This command by God is one kind of a strange command, the one that indicates a change in the history of Israel. Israel had fought defensive wars to come to this point. Now they were about to fight offensive wars to take the land.

God re-emphasise that he had already given them the promised land. However God would not do for them what they could do for themselves. With His help, they had to take the land from the hands of the Canaanite.

Most of God's promises comes with our role embedded in it... As God is playing his own role, so also we are expected to play ours...   Moses played his role by appearing before Pharaoh, and God played his own role to perform wonders.

Waiting for God to play your role in your life will result to failure. This is the reason many of God's promises in our lives seems to be delayed or fail to come to pass.

We radically expect God to do everything for us... If we sow and water, we should expect God for increase in our harvest. But waiting on God to come down and play our role of sowing is definitely foolishness..

David played his role by shooting his sling at Goliahat, and God played his role by increasing the force of the stone and also projecting it to the right spot... That's how miracle happens.

Are you playing your role in the system of blessing of God for your life?,God will not do what you can do, failure to do yours will result to delay of blessings or breakthrough.

God's words, promises and prophesies always come to pass only when you play your own role. Because, God will never miss His.

Check your life today and examine where you are missing it... You may save your life from unnecessary fasting and prayer and going to mountains to find solution to your life problems.
