Has the truth set you free?
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
The world is thrown into mystery after the deceit of Satan brought darkness into the world. God did not forsake man from knowing His true nature so as not to be imprison by the devil.
The truth of the living God came to set anyone who has been imprisoned free. The truth is meant to represent Christianity, God or Jesus which will set you free from worldly impediments such as sin, misery, or ignorance.
Christ is the truth that was sent to this world by God to set everyone who is in the bondage of sin and death free. The truth is the light that shine in the path of anyone who believes in it...
Truly, many know the truth, they believed Christ is the messiah and the saviour of the world, they go to church to serve God, they know all that is in the bible... But yet, they are still in. Bondage .. Many may know the law and yet the law has no impact in their lives
You may know Christ and yet still be in bondage of sin and death.
Judas was Christ disciple, he traveled far and near with Christ on His ministerial journey, He even performed signs and wonders in Christ name by the grace given, yet, Christ was unable to set Him free from the love of money that made him become a betrayer
In two ways we are not set free...
1. Sin.
We may be free at one time when we came across the truth of God in salvation, but as we grow we unconsciously walk into the trap of sin.
Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2. Ignorance.
Ignorance is the lack of knowledge or information, this is one of the many tool the devil is using to keep believers in bondage, any believer who fail to know the power, grace and victory that reside in Christ, he/she will find it difficult to come out of the bondage of fear. Ephesians 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
The devil's threat and temptations has weakened your spirit to the pint of forgetting who you are in Christ, you have forgotten that in Christ reside the power that is above all dominions and principalities.
Has the truth set you free?
Living in sin and ignorance will make you remain in the bondage of the devil
Repent now, tomorrow may be too late..

1. Lord, thank you for the blessing of today in Jesus Christ name.
2. Lord, forgive me for living in sin and ignorance in Jesus Christ name.
