Perilous time is here
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
Apostle Paul reminded his beloved son in Christ concerning the occurrences that will flood the world during the last days. He never let Timothy to be ignorant of what shall come in latter times, this he explained in his second letter.
There has been well developed believers in Christ, who are consciously following the teachings of Christ through the apostles, but a time will come when sound doctrines will become an history and many will derail from the truth.
In the last days he said... 2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
The self being crucified at salvation will be what many will later sort after, they will be covetous of material things, become boasters of their natural wealth and gains, proud and uneasy to correct.
Children will be disobedient to parents, those who are not properly followed up will be manipulated by the society into becoming vagabond, they become unholy after defiling thier body with the works of the flesh.
Many will become traitors, liars, false accusers, high-minded and lovers of pleasures more than lovers of the things of God.
These and many more are already happening, and it is a proof that we are already in the perilous time. Apostle Paul admonished his son in the Lord to turn away from such before he becomes contaminated by their lust and deceit.
The world is changing and ageing, the believers should not be caught unaware of this occurrences, children must be guided jealously and make them rooted in the word and spirit of God, as they are the prime target of the devil.
Be watchful, do not justify any evil or sinful act with socialisation or civilisation, its act may look innocent at first but they are deadly which can lead to hell.
Many souls has been corrupted already with the quest to become rich at all cost, others to gain powers, some ministers has declined from the faith in Christ to join demonic associations in a bid to gain wealth, fame, large congregation and performing unimaginable signs and wonders.
As a believer, watch and pray, teach your children the truth of God's word and commit their ways into God's hand.
Do not because of signs and wonders fall into the trap of demonic ministers, be rooted in the word of God and know God personally.
By this, you can stand firm and strong in this perilous time.
