High Praise

2 Chronicles  20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

Praise is the expression of gratitude and respect towards God, this is a process of rendering God's pedigree, accounting how great and mighty He is, telling of the battles He has worn, the ones He is winning and those He will still win, exulting Him above all.

Praise brings God into the scene. Praise opens the gates of Heaven and the doors of blessings. Praise dissipates worry and dilutes concern and fear. Praise tarnishes sadness and magnifies goodness.

There are times difficult situation will visit us, a time of distress and sorrow, delay shame and reproach. You may have prayed, instead of getting better it became worse, your soul is vexed, you have tried all you could as human and you feel like given up on God.   But have you tried praise?

God works wonders through praise. We plead for intervention by prayers but we invoke divine intervention by praise; pleading may take time but invocation is instant.

Praise is celebrating God for who He is; thereby invoking His intervention in our affairs.
Psalm 92:1-2 -It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High: 2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

Praise is showing forth the loving kindness of God and His faithfulness to mankind. Celebrating the faithfulness of God, the efficacy and the reliability of His word, is what invokes His intervention.

Praise is a platform through which we make things happen. It is celebrating God for who He is and what is written concerning you; notwithstanding what is happening. By celebrating God for who He is, He turns around what is happening to be in your favour.

Psalm 56:4,10 – In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. 10 In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

King Jehoshaphat was faced with fear from the armies of the children of Ammon and moab, but he was able to key into the power of praise and through it, God set ambush  against them and victory was given.

2022 may be a year of fear   discouragement, disappointment and failure, but if you can praise God, your life will be turned around for a greater glory.

There is power in praise, use it and breakthrough will be yours

God bless you.
