Dangers of the End Time

It is no news anymore that we are in the last days, the end time spoken of by Christ and from the letters of the apostles, most of the prophecies are coming to pass already and some yet to come to pass and preparing to.
To this, believers must be aware and keep their life in check as not to be ignorance of the tricks of the devil of which he uses to deceive the children of God.
One of the menaces of the end time is backsliding and spiritual draining. Most Christians are fast forgetting the faithfulness and love of God.
The scripture clearly instructs us to be vigilant. But it also teaches that no one can say for certain when the end will come, Jesus Himself repeatedly said that no one knows or can know the day or hour of His return (Matthew 24:36; Mark 13:32; Acts 1:7).
To be sure, we are surrounded by events and developments that could be interpreted as signs of the end. On every hand we see famines, earthquakes, disasters, troubles, persecutions, wars and rumors of wars (Mark 13:7-9). This implies that it can happen anytime, any day
What then should be the preparedness of every believers in Christ in other not to get carried away by the dangers of the end time spoken of in the scripture.
Christians are called to do one thing: we are to practice holiness and do good to others wherever and whenever we can. We are supposed to work the works of God “while it is day” (John 9:4).
Irrespective of the moral Decadence that may surrounds humanity this end time, when men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, when many will be Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
when there will be Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but their inner intent is evil. From such Apostle Paul warns that believers must turn away, never to get associated with them in order not to get corrupted in the same sin.
There also will be a time when there will be appearances in the "body of Christ" some who claimed to be with God but will depart from the faith and embrace seducing Spirits and doctrines of the devil.
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
As a believer you must be vigilant, watch and pray so as not to be caught unaware when the Lord shall come. Guide your heart, teach your children and live godly in expectation of the Lord.
