Give God the glory
Acts 12:20 And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country. 12:21 And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. 12:22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. 12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.
All things are from God, through him and to him, The reason you are alive is not because of your work if righteousness.
Anything we would ever become comes from God, anything you would ever possess in life originates from God, all glory then also must return back to Him.
From the text above, Herod Agrippa I is the grandson of Herod the Great and king over almost all his territory with the exception of Decapolis. Agrippa makes his home in Jerusalem where he can maintain favorable relations with the Jewish leaders. Although foolish in his youth, when he became king of Judea, Agrippa kept Caligula from installing a statue of himself in the temple; and Agrippa read aloud the Mosaic law to the people. His friendliness with the Jews has made him an enemy of the church
he has made himself somewhat of a religious leader among God's people, and God will not stand for it. Agrippa is immediately overcome by severe pains in his abdomen and dies. The scripture says he was smote him by an angel because he didn't give glory to God.
