Your sin will find You

Numbers  32:23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.

Sin is an immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law. Sin is most time a concealment of secret which is against the law.
When sin occur, the very first thing a sinner will be afraid of is fear of being exposed,

Sin is a jailer that keeps the sinner in prison of fear of being expose but sooner or latter, if sin is not confessed it will definitely expose the  sinner in a disgraceful and shameful manner.

Numbers  32:23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.
Moses reminded  the tribes of Gad and Reuben of a promise they made to help the other tribes settle in Canaan land. They wanted to settle west of the Jordan River, However, they promised to help the rest of the Israelite drive the Canaanites out of the Promised Land on the east side of the Jordan.

Moses told them, if they refuse to fulfil their promise, their sin will definitely find them out... Such is a life of anyone who breaks promises and covenant.

King David committed adultery and murder against the house of Uriah, he thought he had succeeded in concealing his evil acts, yet His sin exposed Him. He became a father of a dead child,  a shameful and disgraceful occurrence happened and war did not end in his home just as prophet Nathan prophesied.  Sin will always leave a mark even after forgiveness.
2 Samuel  12:10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.  12:11 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.  12:12 For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

Gehazi secretly  went behind his master to obtain gifts from Naaman who had just been healed  which his master had first rejected... His lies were convincing enough and made him got more than he requested for. But little did he know that whatever is done in secret is directly open to God who watches over the universe.

His sin finds him out, his ministerial journey ended that day, and he became a disgrace for the rest of his life, many who didn't know when he got the gifts saw him to be a leper.
2 Kings  5:26 And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?  5:27 The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

Whatsoever you do in secret will definitely expose you one day either on earth now or when Christ shall appear the second time if you fail to repent

Sin will continue to keep you a prisoner in the prison of fear, disgrace, and shame...and  the longer you live in sin, the more closer you are to eternal death.

Expose your sin now (asking for forgiveness) before your sin expose you (total disgrace, shame and second death)

Now is the time... Tomorrow may be too late.

God bless you.
