Failed Faith
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Faith is the confidence we have in God that, It takes faith to even believe in Christ; it takes faith to believe that what God says is always right and true; and it takes faith to trust and walk in that each and every day. However, if your faith doesn’t continue to grow in your relationship with Christ, you won’t have the faith to see God’s Kingdom come not only in your life, but in the lifes of those around you.
Whatever faith you have inside of you will determine the outcome of the faith level you’ll have for God at work around you. If you don’t have faith for God to move, there’s a good chance you won’t be looking for anything to take place.
But our faith becomes a failed Faith when we refuse to put it to work. Faith alone is not enough, we need to complete it with our deeds, our action towards faith brings manifestation of the words of God in our life
James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Our faith in God must be accompanied by our obedience to his words. Abraham did offered up Isaac to God who had requested for it, still believing that God's promise of becoming the father of many nations stands.
A failed Faith is seen in the life of an idle man who believed the promises of God for blessings and increase but failed to act on the little substance he has only to be expecting mannar of God's blessing to fall from heaven.
Before Naaman could be heald of his leprosy, he first obeyed the instruction of God from the mouth of His servant by washing in the river Jordan... If he had declined completely as he did at first, he wouldn't have been healed, and his faith becomes failed.
Daniel and the three hebrews had faith in the one true God of the Hebrews but their faith would not totally save them if they had not separated themselves from the pleasure of the Palace.
Our God want our faith to work out, many are languishing in a failed Faith thinking God is not powerful to save and to deliver.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Christ is our strength to accomplish anything in life and I'm God, if we totally put out trust and hope in Him, and obey totally, our hope in God will never be shattered.
Check your faith today and make amends... God is powerful to save and deliver, it is your faith that failed.
God bless you.
