Jesus in Cana
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
There was a marriage at cana of Galilee, Jesus Christ and His disciples were invited.
This was the begining of a new era to start a new home and the couple deem it fit to invite Jesus Christ to the home.
John 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
This should be expected of every believer, one should always invite Jesus Christ to anything we would ever begin in our life... It could be marriage, business, travel, etc . This would give the assurance of Christ's support at anytime the storm of life may want to arise.
2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
inviting Jesus Christ into whatever we want to do does not stop the storm of life from raging, it doesn't stop challenges from coming against us,. Jesus Christ was at the marriage, yet the wine finished, Jesus was with the disciples on the sea yet the the storm rages and disturbed the sea, Jesus Christ at Cana does not stop the wine from finishing
Mary the mother of Jesus being conscious of the spirit knew what to do at the right time.. She understood wine had finished, and there is definitely no one to help out, but she believed only Jesus Christ is able to perform the only miracle that could save them from the shame that is about to befall them.
She reached out to Jesus Christ to call his attention to the present problem, Christ being the present help in need swing into action and make things right.
2:7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 2:8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
You can have Jesus in your home and still be in trouble, because you fail to call on Him into the situation
There wouldn't have been a miracle if Jesus had not been told there was no more wine,
The disciples would have continue to travail in fear when the storm started raging on the sea, but they were wise enough to call on Jesus Christ while He was yet sleeping.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Until you call Jesus Christ into the situation of your life before you can experience the full manifestation of God.
Call unto Jesus into that situation, don't assume God will help you without calling Him, most believers act as if they can help themselves so God kept mute. Call on Him today and He will help you.
Jesus Christ's presence at Cana turn their shame around to Rejoicing, call on Jesus today, and your life will turn around for better...
God bless you.
