God's law; our Guidance

Deuteronomy  10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,  10:13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

God's  Law is the sum total of His requirements and expectations for man’s behaviour, words, and attitude. It is a guide for our daily living here on earth among fellow humans and our pathway to His kingdom. 

When Adam and Eve was created, he made a law that should guide them through their life in the garden, but they disobey and choose the side of destruction. 

God is not a wicked person who Imposes difficult instructions on his subject, all His laws are as a product of His love towards us.

After the Exodus of the children of Israel from the land of slavery, God gave them laws to follow, and these  laws is to enforce discipline, righteousness, holiness, and godly living among the people. These laws latter become their way of life 

Whoever that will walk with God and wants  to succeed in God's way must be read to follow God's guidance made available in His laws and will. 

God requires five things from us as a living entity, first to fear Him, to obediently walk according to His will, to respond to His being with love, to live our life in service to His glory and to know and obey His commandments. Compliance with all that God requires results in our well-being on earth among ourselves. 

 God's law is not limited to His dos and don't but also His  instructions embedded in His will for our life.

When God give you instructions, it is not to increase His power or glory in His reign, but for us to follow the right path that leads to our success both in this world and the world to come.

God told Lot and his wife to depart from Sodom and Gomarah in other to escape the destruction that is about to befall it, but Lot's wife disobeyed the detailed instruction and was consumed with the land. 

When God rained manner in the wilderness for the children of Israel, God specifically gave a warning that they should only gather what they can eat... This is to teach them about contentment, totally trust and dependant on God for help at each moment, and to guide them against gluttony. But many disobeyed and were killed in the process. 

God  loves us, His instructions may be difficult to follow, but it is for our own good. 

Whatever law or instruction God is giving you today, accept it with thanksgiving and expect a glorious result.
