Have you confessed Christ?

Matthew  10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.c

Jesus Christ is our redeemer who came to this world to perfect the work of our redemption on the cross of calvary. He was the love God gave to the whole world that whoever believes in him shall not perish in the eternal doom but have everlasting life.   John  3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

His teachings and commands is therefore paramount to follow for anyone who will receive this new life, whoever that believes in Him is expected to confess him as Lord and personal saviour both in speech and in deeds.

But sadly today, many only appear as followers  of Christ but are yet to confess Him as their saviour, their behaviour is totally different from that of Christ unlike the believers in Antioch who were named after Christ because of their replicated character of Christ.

Many today only identify with one church or the other but their character and behaviour in the real world is not far from the devil.

Peter was a very close disciple of Jesus Christ, on several occasion he had confessed his love for him... He had a close intimacy with Him and was confident to say He is the true saviour of the world... But when the storm of life came, and Jesus Christ was aerated, peter denied ever knowing Christ, not once but thrice
Luke  22:56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.  22:57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

At that point he only followed Christ but yet to be crucified with Christ, he was still filled with fear and anxiety that follows anyone who  confesses Christ as Lord and saviour ... But when the time came, at the moment he was transformed by the Holyghost in the upper room, he came out boldly and confess to all who are present that Christ is the true saviour ... He was not ashamed neither was he afraid of what man will do.

Acts  2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:  2:15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.  2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

In another view, Judas iscariot choose money rather than Christ, he also had close  intimacy with Christ being one of the twelve, but he was not transformed by the light of Christ that ought to illuminate the darkness of fleshly lust in his heart. He died in his sin.

Jesus Christ said in Matthew  10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Only those who bravely live for Jesus Christ both in speech and in deeds have thier names confessed before God and are boldly written in the book of life.

But whosoever lives hypocritically here on earth, appearing to be for Christ but secretly  associating with the devil will openly  be denied by Christ on the last day.

Confessing Christ as Lord is not only by verbally expressing our love for Him, true confession comes in our changed attitude, character, behaviour and constant expression of his love towards another.

Have you truly confessed Christ as Lord today?, as you claim to be for Christ, does Christ recognise you to be His?.

You can deceive everyone that you are for Christ, but don't deceive yourself and go to hell.

Confess him as Lord and savoir through your character and behaviour wherever you may find yourself, else, you die in sin, you have no place with him.

God bless you..

Prayer key:

1. Lord, thank you for the blessing of today in Jesus Christ name.

2. Lord forgive me for deceiving myself in Jesus Christ name.

3. Lord, help me to live my whole life for you in Jesus Christ name.

4. Thank you Lord for answered prayers in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
