Your Influencer
Genesis 40:14 But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:
An influencer is someone who has the power to affect the purchasing decisions of others because of his or her authority, knowledge, position, or relationship with his or her audience.
God most time strategically place people around us, or take us to a place where we would be influenced for success... Though we pray, but He won't come down from heaven to put things in other, but He has power to move people for us so we can get to where we need to be in life.
These influencer may not be easily recognisable contrary to the ones we have in the contemporary world, in fact, most time, their identity is hiden for a time be.
Joseph's influencer was in prison, God needed him to be in the Palace next to the king but there is no better way to sit at the right hand of the king if not by first going to the prison... Because there he will come across someone that will influence him to stand before the king...
Sometimes, our prison could be that unfavorable job we are doing, sometimes it could be that local town you find yourself, which makes you associate with less intellectual than you are, it may be that physical prison, but that is a process by God for you to meet your Influencer.... Some people miss their influencer because they allow the situation they find themselves blind them of their way to success
If joseph have had a bitter relationship with the butler, he wouldn't have been remembered when the time came.... Remember, the dream will definitely come to pass either Joseph interpreted it or not...
Your Influencer may be your neighbours, friends, associates even someone lesser than you... They may not have the solution to your problem but can connect you to the solution.
Your attitude, character and behaviour are key component that trigger your influencer in connecting you to where you need to be or it can make you remain where you are.
The little slave girl in the house of Naaman was his influencer, she doesn't have the solution to his problem but knows someone who has the solution, if Naaman had rejected her advice being a slave, he would have remain a leper for the rest of his life.
2 Kings 5:2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife. 5:3 And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.
How well have you or are you treating your influencer whom God has placed around you to help lift you out of your predicament...
As a lecturer, your Influencer can be your student.
As a business man, your influencer can be your domestic worker or your client...
As a minster of God, your influencer can be the most underrated member in your church...
Your influencer as a believer may be an unbeliever around you.
Treat everyone around you with love and good attitude, you never can tell who God has chosen to be your Influencer....
