The world is of the Lord

Psalms 24:1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Everything that ever existed in this world is created by God, Psalm 24:1 begins with the resounding proclamation, "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it." These words affirm the Lord's divine ownership and ultimate authority over all creation.

From the majestic mountains to the vast oceans, from the depths of the forests to the songs of the birds, everything finds its origin and purpose in God. Our world, with its intricate design and delicate balance, is a reflection of the Creator's divine craftsmanship.

In Psalm 50:10-11, the Lord reminds us that He does not require our offerings, for "every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills." The wealth and abundance of this world are His, and He does not depend on our offerings to sustain Himself.

This realization humbles us and highlights our role as stewards rather than owners. We are entrusted with the responsibility to care for God's creation, recognizing that we are mere custodians of His gifts.

Understanding that the world belongs to the Lord challenges us to adopt an attitude of responsible stewardship. We are called to manage and utilize the resources of this earth wisely, following the example set by our loving Creator.

Our stewardship extends beyond material possessions to include our time, talents, and relationships. Each aspect of our lives should reflect our recognition that we are accountable to God for how we use His blessings.

As stewards of the Lord's creation, we must resist the temptation to exploit and abuse the earth for selfish gain. Instead, let us cultivate a spirit of gratitude, recognizing that all we have comes from God's hand.

Our responsibility is to preserve and protect the environment, to advocate for justice and equity, and to promote sustainable practices that ensure the well-being of both present and future generations.

Acknowledging that the world belongs to the Lord also encourages us to adopt an eternal perspective. In a world filled with uncertainty, pain, and transience, we find solace in the truth that God's sovereignty transcends time and circumstance. Our lives and the world itself are part of a larger narrative a grand design woven by the hands of the Divine Artist.

In light of this eternal perspective, we are called to seek first the Kingdom of God and align our lives with His purposes. Our focus should shift from accumulating temporary treasures to his investing in the things of eternal significance love, compassion, justice, and the spread of the Gospel.

When we understand that our time on earth is but a fleeting moment, we become more intentional about making a lasting impact for God's glory.

As we continue to live our life, let us be reminded daily that this world is not our own and as much as God created this world, we have a hope in eternity where God's kingdom exist.

God bless you.
