Heavenly backing
Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Our journey on this earth is not without challenges, but we have been blessed with a divine promise of heavenly backing. In Matthew 18:18, Jesus declares, "Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." These words hold the key to understanding the incredible power and authority that God has granted us.

When Jesus speaks of binding and loosing, He is referring to the authority to declare something lawful or unlawful, to forbid or permit. We have the privilege of participating in God's work here on earth, influencing and impacting lives through prayer, intercession, and the proclamation of His truth.

We can activate heavenly backing through
a. Seeking Alignment: To tap into heavenly backing, we must seek alignment with God's Word. The decisions we make, the prayers we offer, and the actions we take should be grounded in biblical truth and guided by the Holy Spirit. As we align our hearts with God's will, we position ourselves to receive heavenly backing in our endeavors.
b. Walking in Faith: Heavenly backing requires faith. We must believe that God's promises are true and that He is faithful to fulfill them. Even when faced with challenges or setbacks, we must not waver in our trust. As we step out in faith, God's power is unleashed, and obstacles are overcome.
c. Praying in Agreement: Jesus goes on to say in Matthew 18:19, "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." When believers come together in unity, seeking God's will and praying in agreement, the impact is multiplied, and heavenly backing is magnified.
When we take hold of the incredible truth of heavenly backing, we are not alone in our journey; we have been granted authority, power, and divine support. As we align ourselves with God's will, walk in faith, and seek unity with other believers, we unlock the supernatural resources of heaven.
