Due Season

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

In a world filled with challenges, it is easy to grow weary and discouraged. However, as followers of Christ, we are called to press on, to continue doing good even when we face obstacles.

Paul's words remind us not to lose heart but to stay steadfast in our commitment to live according to God's will. We are called to persevere in acts of kindness, love, and obedience, trusting that our labor in the Lord is not in vain.

The key to reaping the blessings of due season lies in our faithfulness to God's Word. God's promises are steadfast and true, but they are often fulfilled in His perfect timing.

Our role is to remain faithful and patient, even when we cannot yet see the fruits of our labor. The world may discourage us, circumstances may seem dire, but when we continue to trust God and remain obedient, we position ourselves to receive the blessings He has in store for us.

Paul's words hold a beautiful promise for those who do not give up. He says, "we will reap." Just as a farmer patiently sows seeds, tends to the crops, and waits for the harvest, we too can expect a harvest of blessings if we do not lose heart. God sees our efforts, and He rewards our faithfulness.

The harvest may come in various forms—spiritual growth, answered prayers, breakthroughs in relationships, or opportunities for service. When we persist in doing good, our due season will arrive, and we will experience the abundant blessings of God.

In our individual lives, we must always acknowledge the reality of weariness. The pressures of life, disappointments, and the weight of responsibilities can drain our energy and enthusiasm.

However, we must guard against weariness, for it can lead to discouragement, complacency, and even giving up. Instead, let us draw strength from the Lord, seeking His renewal, and finding encouragement in His promises. When weariness threatens to overtake us, remember that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness.

The blessings of due season are reserved for those who do not give up. May we find encouragement in the promises of God, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain. As we press on, let us hold fast to our faith, knowing that our due season is on the horizon, and the harvest of blessings is just within reach. Amen.

God bless you.
