Help From above

Psalms  121:2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

In the midst of our daily lives, it is essential to recognize the authority and power of the One from whom our help comes. The Psalmist declares that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. This acknowledgment conveys the greatness of our God, who is not confined to earthly limitations but reigns over the entire universe.

As the Creator of all things, God possesses infinite wisdom, boundless resources, and unmatched sovereignty. When we seek help from above, we approach the One who holds the power to bring about change, transformation, and deliverance.

As humans, we encounter situations and circumstances that are beyond our control. It is in these moments that we must humbly turn our gaze towards heaven and acknowledge our need for divine intervention.

The psalmist affirms that our help comes from the Lord, emphasizing the importance of seeking assistance from the One who is more than capable of meeting our needs. By relying on God, we embrace our dependence on Him, understanding that true strength lies not in ourselves alone, but in our relationship with our Heavenly Father.

When we turn to God for help, we find solace in the fact that His assistance is unwavering. Unlike earthly sources, which may falter or fail, God's help is steadfast and sure. In Psalm 121:4, we read, "Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."

Our Heavenly Father is always attentive to our needs, and His care is constant. He never grows tired or weary in His commitment to His children. Even in the darkest of times, when we feel abandoned or overwhelmed, we can take comfort in knowing that God is with us, watching over us, and ready to extend His helping hand.

we must always recognize that God's help surpasses our earthly understanding. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are greater than our thoughts.

In times of distress, we may be tempted to seek solutions solely within the confines of our human understanding. However, the psalmist reminds us to look beyond ourselves and seek help from the One who knows all things.

When we lift our eyes to heaven, we find not only immediate aid but also divine wisdom, guidance, and perspective that transcend our limited vision.

Do not lean on your own understanding, seek help from God and you will not be disappointed.

God bless you.
