Your altar, God's Abode
1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
God does not only dwell in heaven where His throne resides, but when His son came to earth and ascended to Heaven, His spirit came down and dwell with men, it does not only reside in church buildings but in our heart
At the moment we accept Christ as our Lord and personal saviour an altar is raised in our heart, which becomes the abode of God by this we carry the kingdom of God in us.
As much as our heart, our altar becomes the abode of God, we must continue the principles of His kingdom in our life
1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
The altar where God abide must never be defiled, but in resent days many has defiled the altar, God's abode, and the Lord has departed, the altar of God has been compromised with the carnality of this world, and the desires of the flesh
God cannot live in you and you have unbroken relationship with the devil, you are yet to detach from the affections of the flesh and sin.
2 Corinthians 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
God can only be your God, if His abode , your heart manifest His righteousness, obedience and holiness
1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Our God is holy, so also you who holds His presence must be holy, we must exhibit the nature of God, we must live a godly life because we have been sanctified but the blood of Jesus Christ
Since we have been made spiritually holy and the presence of God dwells in us, we must be obligated to live our lives as of those that are separated from the ways of the world.
Today, does God still abide on your alter?, or your altar is empty?
If your Altar is full of trashes or the works of the flesh, the presence of God has already departed.
Check your life today, and re-invite God onto your Altar and let God take over your life.
You can never experience the divine manifestation of God's grace upon your life if your Altar is void of God.
Check and recheck. Your alter, God's abode.
Prayer key:
