God's disappointment in Man
Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Before the creation of man, God sort for a new set of beings, different from the angels and heavenly beings. He was so eager to creat this people called man, to extend His kingdom and to manifest His power in another universe.
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
He was so determined that He created them in His own very image and likeness to govern and to dominate the new kingdom earth He has just created. Man was given everything he would need for total survival including the free will to do what pleases him.
But God was first disappointed when man disobeyed His commandment, yielded to the deceit of Satan and fell into sin. The glory of God was withdrawn and man was condemned to death.
Yet in the state of condemnation God still kept communicating with men, creating an avenue of reunion starting from the garden of Eden by providing covering man's nakedness and choosing a seed to provide a channel for His consistent communication..
The more man grow the more the wickedness of man increases, Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. It grieves God He made man because of the increased wickedness and sin, at a point God decided to wipe away the whole earth save Noah and his family.
Today, God is disappointed in many who are named with Christ, many who identified themselves with the name of God, many who has tasted of the grace but walk in the disgraceful act of sin.
Just like the parable of Jesus in Luke 13:6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
The man had planted a fig tree, dressed it and took vey good care of it in expectation of fruit at the end of the year, but He was disappointed, he came back and found none..
This was a wasted effort, waste of resources, and waste of time, the man could have invested His good time on something more profitable, he could have invested His resources on a business that will yield profit at the end of the day.
In such manner God is disappointed in you, He bought you with a great price from the bondage of sin and death, gave you freedom and eternal hope, endowed your life with peace, joy and all manners of spiritual gift, but you failed to bear fruit.
Your life that suppose to glorify God is disgracing His name among men, your life that should be a channel through which people will know God but has become the reason people wish not to accept your God.
God is disappointed in you.
He gave you spiritual gift, to win souls, to bless people with His grace, but you kept your talent in secret and let souls waste away, He called you to be His representative, but you decline and follow the desire of your heart, God is disappointed in you.
There is still hope, God is calling you unto repentance, come to Him and let God be please with you.
Tomorrow may be too late, change your ways of life, put on the new nature of God, let the grace of God flow through you for many souls to be blessed.
Don't stand on the Last day to receive the remark "depart from me, ye unprofitable servant"
Repent now
God bless you.
