The hope in Redemption
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Redemption is the action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil, man had first been enslaved by the devil after sinning against God, we lose Everything God had first given us, including our authority and our place with Him. Our life has been with pain and sorrow.
But God who desires our freedom prepared a redemption plan in Christ Jesus, that in His death and resurrection we will be free from the bondage of sin and death, and our life will have a total turnaround of peace and joy in whom has created us for His glory.
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
The redemption we receive in God through Christ does not only free us from the bondage of sin alone, but also reposition us to who we are created to be in God, and also make available the joy of living in this world.
Satan will always come through many devices to draw our attention back to the way of sin in a bid to steel our joy in God, kill our faith with fear and destroy our life in hell, He comes with all manner of temptation that can weaken our spirit and come us to sin. But our hope in Christ redemption should give us the boldness to stand against all the antics of the devil and his cohorts
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
We have been crucified with Christ at salvation, we are dead to sin and our body has been preserved in Christ. he lives in us, we no longer live in the flesh which put us in bondage, but by faith in Christ we stand free and live the full life of righteousness He has given us.
What temptation are you falling into today and it seems its very difficult to get out from?, you have once been saved, but satan has found a way to occupy your heart with the regret of the past, so you find yourself in the bondage you have been saved from, you kept struggling in fulfilling the desires of the flesh and it seems there is no way out.
Stand against the devil today, stand against the flesh today and walk in the freedom Christ as given through His death on the cross and resurrection, rededicate your life totally to Him and walk the walk of faith.
The final hope we have in the redemption of Christ is that we will reign with Him in the last day, we will live in a life of peace till eternity, we will see God face to to face, we will abode in a place of no pain, sorrow and death.
Only those who recognizes the redemptive plan of God now will enjoy in His everlasting kingdom..
Come to Him today and be totally free from the bondage of Satan and sin. Tomorrow may be too late.
