Faithless Generation
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. It is the medium through which we can have a cordial relationship with God.
As much as God is spirit whom cannot be seen, His manifestation is evidence in the life of those who trust and have faith in Him.
It was through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
It was By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
It was through faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
It was By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
It was By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
But what comes out of this generation, filled with unfaithfulness, our heart is far from God and His manifestation becomes void in our lives.
We wish to experience the divine manifestation of God but our faith weighs zero in Him.
Mark 9:17 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; 9:18 And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. 9:19 He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.
The disciples had been with christ for many days, they have tested of the power of God through their relationship with Christ, yet their faith could not heal the dumb, though they have the power to command the healing, but their lack of faith becomes the barrier.
We can never experience the full divine manifestation of the power of God as of old if we continue to live in the life of unfaithfulness.
Your unanswered prayers are as a result of unfaithfulness, though you have been to series of prayer ground and fasted, but your doubt of if God can solve your problem keeps heaven shut against your prayers
Unfaithfulness limits the power of God in one's life, it limits His manifestation and create room for fear. It is a tool the devil uses to robb of believers their blessings and breakthrough in God.
The heart of God is far away from those who have no faith in Him, you cannot mature to the level God wants you to be if you lack faith in Him.
God still exist and powerful as of old, but the lack of faith of this generation hinders the supernatural move of God.
Let your faith be alive and let the manifestation of God be seen in you.
