John  13:5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. The Saviour took upon Himself a Servant's duty,  laid down his garments and began to wash the feet of the  Disciples , Jesus is still washing people till today...  The water symbolises the he word of God,  His word keeps us clean day by day.. Peter protested,  Thou shall not wash my feet.. Peter thinks he can clean up his own life.  This is a hopeless task for him,  self righteousness and reformation does not save us from our dirt.  Only Christ can cleanse from sin.  Peter later realize he needed total cleansing...   Our feet get dirty walking in this dusty world,  so the need for constant washing. Proverbs  9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. What is your greatest fear? Are you afraid of the economy? Genesis  17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. The time  he ought to have been perfect before God he was busy looking for short cuts . Have you checked your life deeply if you are not the obstacle to your greatness? Have you checked if you are not the cause of the misfortune in your family? Are you not the reason for your struggles and pain.? Our God is in heaven doing whatever pleases Him. Before God can give u an open cheque, u must provoke Him with something. Solomon did, by sacrificing 1000 animals to God. Matthew  26:48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. Scam is an attempt to defraud a person or group after first gaining their confidence. Judas was one of the most trusted disciple of Jesus Christ,  yet he betrayed our Lord with a friendly kiss,  but that kiss was a scam. The devil will always come in angelic clothing,  trying to deceive the Saint,  it is all a scam Delilah appear to be a loving and caring wife to Samson,  but it was all a scam to get the root of his power.  When a leader gives you fish but refuse to teach you how to fish,  it's all a scam.  When the scriptures are manipulated to suit your desire,  it's all a scam. The problem is the believe  always finds it difficult to end the communication thereby giving the devil the sure way to penetrate. The Bible says,  the thief comes to still,  kill and destroy,  no matter how romantic,  sweet,  comfortable,  innocent the chat with the Devil might be,  the mission is always to destroy. The earlier you end your chat with the Devil,  the better you secure your life and destiny from devil's  mission. Eve was unable to end the conversation with the Devil, thereby falling to sin and resulted to the fall of man. Exodus  8:25 And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land. This was a story of the Israel,  incidences preceding their exodus from Egypt.  Pharaoh will allow the people to worship God,  but he insisted they do so in Egypt,   Satan offers the same compromise today,  believes are called to a different life which separates them from the life of the world.  We are not of the world.  Go,  but don't go very far (8:28).... Pharaoh only lengthens the chain of their slavery,  so many things u must have involve yourself into,  which actually restrict your religion,  or your self will,.  This is part of the devil's trick to keep you more in bondage. This compromise is unacceptable,  Satan wants our families,  our families ought to serve God with us...  But so sad today,  most parents are not fully concern about what their children do outside faith,  this open door for the devil

Ephesians  4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: The Bible gives us permission to be angry,  but it also suggest that anger can easily lead to sin,  and we may not let that happen,  Anger must be kept on a short period of time Some anger are appropriate,  you may be angry why your car is stolen,  when someone hurts your child,  or perverts justice,  like God Himself,  we grow angry at injustice,  prejudice and evil,  but unlike God,  our anger can quickly boil over and destroy relationships  if we don't deal with it appropriately  and eliminate it promptly.  Anger is not just about your relationship with someone else,  it's about you,  when you allow anger to be your default response to Irritation,  when you hold grudges or nurse resentment,  you actually push people away even God your maker. Joshua  7:1 But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel. Achan took what God had cursed, thereby made the Israelite to fall before their enemy. What Achan are you keeping with you  ? yours may be Fornication, adultery,  lies, malice, stealing , hypocrisy etc. No Matter how hard you pray or how much you can fast , if you still keep  Achan in your life , God will still be angry with you an His presence will not be in view If  you still keep Achan in your life,  success will be difficult, heaven will be shut,  your life will be prone to attacks from the devil.  Until you remove that Achan in you, then God can favour you. Isaiah 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
