Whom shall I send?

Isaiah  6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

At the  time of the vision of prophet Isaiah, the people of Judah had gone astray from the will and purpose of God. It was during the time of national uncertainty that Isaiah was reaffirmed as a prophet of God.

God knows the heart of those who will answer His call to preach  to His people. He knew the heart of Isaiah. He knew that Isaiah would respond to this vision in the manner that is herein revealed

He was commissioned to the spiritually insensitive people, a people who were dull of hearing. They were dull of hearing because they had no interest in hearing the word of God preached.

They had no concern for what God has to say in reference to their behaviour. They are self minded, and had gone deep in sin.

In this time, God was looking for a man capable of speaking His truth to the people irrespective of who they are and what he(Isaiah) must endure because of the truth.

God found Isaiah worthy of the job and was commissioned. He didn't disappoint God in the task, he ensure the truth of God's word is established among the people.

In the same view God is seeking men He would send on the same task. looking at our society today, people have become lust in the world, they become lovers of self, lairs, betrayer, murderers, hypocrites etc

Many of those whom God had raised in the past disappointed God at the long run, instead to stand out for the truth, they rather hide behind lies in other to avoid the sacrifice of the truth preached.

Isaiah stood up for God, answered the clarion call and ensure God's word prevailed. As God is calling today, will you respond in the positive to represent God in this crook and wicked world?

Standing for God in this generation does not totally transcribe being anointed as a man of God  or having a ministry. Your life is enough to preach the truth of God's word. Living righteously and living the truth daily is the key to responding positive to God.

Prophet Isaiah did not failed God in his generation, this is your time and season, do not fail God.

God bless you.
