The Breath of Life
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
At creation, man was originally dead, an ordinary clay without life, but God in His divine wisdom of creation breath into a formed clay and man became a living being with a body, soul and divine spirit of God of righteousness and holiness.
The breath that the Lord breathe into man is the Spirit of God that gives the life of man a meaning, it activates the glory of God in man, and man share in the divine nature of the living God.
Job 33:4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Job acknowledged God for the breath of life God gave him, he speak with confidence that it is the Spirit of God that gave him life even when in the most difficult situation a man could ever experience in life, yet he believes that the spirit of God in him in which he believes is the life that gives him joy despite being in sorrow.
When Satan deceived man, the nature of the living God and His glory departed from him, and man was subjected first to the natural and spiritual death which makes us lose the life of the righteousness of God.
But Christ came to this world as the new breath of life that guarantee man the spirit of God and eternal life, it reactivate the glory of God that was lost in the garden of Eden. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Even after Christ ascended unto glory, the breath of God came from heaven as the holy spirit and gave life unto all who gathered at the upper room and they began to manifest the divine nature of God.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
It is this spirit of God that quickened our body and gives us the grace to live above the lust of the flesh and manifest in the divine nature of righteousness and holiness of the living God.
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
The breath of life which is the Holy spirit of God is the one that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, the same shall give life to whatsoever that is dead in your life.
John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
If you believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God just as the scriptures profess, and you earnestly receive the Holy spirit, out of you shall the rivers of living water flow, you not only receive life, but will be a chanel of life to others.
When the disciples received the Holy spirit, they become evidence of the life of God, through their character, behaviour and the manifestation of the power of God in them..
Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
As a believer, building up yourself in the holy spirit and the power of God is a sure way of being alive in God through the breath of life that dwells in such person.
Do you have the breath of life in you today?, if not, ask for it.
What is dead in your life,
Is your finance dead?
Is your marriage dead?
Is your business dead?
Is your health dead?
Is your spiritual life dead?
Ask God to breathe into you through the Holy spirit in other to resurrect everything that may be dead in your life.
If you are yet to accept Christ in your life, then you are still dead in this world, you may be alive as human but you are spiritually dead.
Accept Jesus Christ today and receive the life of God into your life, and this will also guarantee the everlasting life.
Allow Jesus Christ into your life today, tomorrow may be too late.
