Making/Marring life
Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
In the begining God purposed in His hearth to create man who will have the image of Him, that will be an extension of His kingdom reign. So He formed man from the dust of the ground, breath life into it and man became a living being Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
This life He gave came with a conscious warning in the garden He placed man. Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
God gave a clear warning to the man, and the consequences that follows if He so disobeys. Little did Adam knew that there is an enemy withing. Eve was tempted by the serpent who was influenced by the devil, sin came upon man and the consequence follows which is death.
The beautiful life God created becomes corrupted with sin, and death came upon all men. Satan the cause of man's death never stop to influence men against man in other to destroy every beautiful things God had created.
To Mar life is to ruin or diminish the perfection or wholeness of life, and the tool the devil is using today is sin.
God in His mercy once again was moved with love and compassion created a means so that man will not die completely, even if the flesh perish, the soul will live in the eternal life of God. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
With the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, man has the privilege to reclaim the life that was lost in the garden.
Today, what are you doing with your life, are you making it, or you are destroying it? Making life is to grow in the grace and salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ until the end of days, but to destroy it is to continually love in sin.
The bible says in Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Though there shall be a temptation to sin through the deceit of the devil, but you incur more danger to death if you coverup your sins.. Just like Adam and Eve who hide themselves after committing sin.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
God is just and righteous to forgive us all sins we have commited and reposition us back to the state we ought to be which the devil has robbed from us., only if we are ready to confess and never go back to sin again.
King david acknowledged his wrongs and believes keeping in secret with his sins will attract God's silence and total separation over His life. Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: 66:19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
Just as king David, do you acknowledge your sin?, do you have the consciousness that you have done something wrong?... Do you feel guilty for all the atrocity you have commited, if no, then you are gradually destroying your life.
Psalms 32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
It is a blessing of eternal life for anyone whose sin is forgiven, for they shall live with Christ in the kingdom of God. Luke 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
With the life you are living now, are you making life better or you are destroying it?
You may not sin but you are an obstacle for many to sin, you are part of those destroying lives... Luke 17:1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! 17:2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
You are at the position to make life better for people, but instead, you make life difficult for them, you depend on your accumulated power, wealth and authority, and thinks no one can challenge, yet you forget that as much as it seems you own everything, you never own your soul.
Your life cannot be better with God if you still continue in sin. Eternal death await anyone who die in sin here on earth.
Repent from destroying your life and the life of others, make your ways right with God, confess every of your secret and open sin, receive a new nature of God made available in Christ Jesus.
If you die in sin, you will still die again in eternity. The choice is yours.
God bless you.
