Something good out of Desert

Isaiah  43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

A desert is a barren area of landscape where little precipitation occurs and, consequently, living conditions are hostile for plant and animal life. There is no doubt some person's life is a replica of a desert land. 

Some people has been categorised as failure, thinking nothing good can ever come out of their life, some were deserted and forsaken, many  lived with no hope of survival. But God who brought out water in the desert for Haggai can bring out a beautiful life out of an ugly past.. 

The story of jephthah is an example of a good thing out of a desert land 

His birth was not planned, his parent never had mutual agreement of getting married, he was a product of adultery, in fact, he was an "unwanted pregnancy" whose mother decided not to abort. 

To make matter worse, he was rejected by his Brethren, he was hated and sent out of the family. The shame, the stigma and the reproach all came from his blood. 

As ugly as his begining was, he never gave up on God and himself, God made Him become so great that those who rejected him sought for Him  sought. Judges  11:6 And they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.

Nazareth the city of Jesus was considered to be desert land by Nathaniel. He hardly believed something good can ever come out of it. It was the most underrated city in the nation of Israel, yet God chose to bring out the saviour of the world from it. 

John  1:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.  1:46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

Job  14:7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.  14:8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;

If there could be hope for a tree cut down, for when it receives  water, it will sprout again... Even if the root wax old and the stock die in the ground, God can still bring it to life again. 

How much more your life, marriage, family, business, finances, ministry etc, that God cannot bring back  to life? 

No matter what you have been through, no matter the delay in your life, no matter the hardship and struggle, God can bring good things out of your ugly situation for the Lord had said... Isaiah  43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

All you have to do is to put your whole trust in God, serve Him in obedience and faithfulness and He shall turn your situation around. 

Your life is not worthless, your marriage can work again, your business can rise again, don't lose hope, God is able to bring good things out of the dessert of your life. 

Trust God with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.
